Chennai Techie And Her Family Set On Fire By A Stalker; Woman Dies And Her Family Critical!

This is the most disturbing news!

A lot of young men these days are finding it extremely hard to take in rejection as a result of which they stalk and attempt to murder the person that rejected them. In a horrific incident, Akash has been accused of brutally murdering a woman, her mother, and her sister as a result of being rejected. Indhuja, a resident of Adambakkam, was an engineering graduate who worked in a company for the past few months. However, she hasn’t been going to work in the last one month, allegedly because of Akash’s stalking.

Akash and Indhuja were classmates in the engineering college they graduated from. Akash has been stalking Indhuja for the past month as a result of his “love” for her. However, Indhuja did not respond to his proposal. It was then that Akash decided to visit Indhuja’s house, convinced the family that he just wanted to meet her and set the entire family on fire.

However, there are two finds behind the crime. While certain reports claim that that as Indhuja reluctantly opened the door to let Akash in as he said he wanted to speak to her for a few minutes, he threw petrol from the can he held in his hand and while some of it spilled on the mother and sister, all were affected when he set her ablaze.

While other reports say that as a result of the argument, Akash went down to find a petrol can and threw it on the three of them.

During the argument, a neighbor who heard the commotion came to intervene. Speaking to Puthiya Thalaimurai, he said, “He was pouring it on them, and by the time I took the can away from his hand and started asking what was happening, he lit the fire and ran away.”

“At that point, everyone started running as they caught fire. First, the boy ran away, then the mother who was on fire was running behind him, and I was behind them. I, too, got burned in the incident,” the neighbor says. “I wasn’t able to find out what happened to the two people who were inside,” he told Puthiya Thalaimurai.

Indhuja succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday morning at the Kilpauk Medical College (KMC) hospital in the city. Her mother Renuka has 49% burns, and sister Nivedha has 23% burns. Both of them are critical and receiving treatment.

The father of the girl went on an official trip abroad and that’s when Akash decided to meet Indhuja at her residence. Indhuja’s uncle told the press, “He’s been stalking her for a month. My brother went abroad for some work. Perhaps knowing this, this man came home last night. They didn’t open the door. But he said he just wants to talk to her. He then poured the petrol on the girl and the mother and burned them and ran away.”
