4. You should be able to do your own thing!
You don’t need your boyfriend to parent you and tell you what to do and what not to. If you want a girl’s night out with some booze, you should be doing it. If you want to take a break from work and go for a movie alone, you should be doing it. Your boyfriend shouldn’t be around to boss you. He should be around to love you.
5. You don’t understand what you are doing with him!
If you want different things, you can still try to work out your differences and sustain a loving relationship. However, if you just plainly not able to relate to him anymore, then you need to rethink your decision. You can always love a person and not be in a relationship with them. It is one thing to love someone unconditionally and it is another thing to put yourself through misery and stick with them to prove that you love them.
