Do you know the story behind your favourite sweet place?

Sri Ananda Bhavan in Wannarapettai, Chennai, was founded by late Thiru. K.S. Thirupathi Raja. He was also the founder of Guru Sweets in Rajapalayam and Srinivasa sweets in Bangalore. Later on, he opened a branch in Adyar, which prefixed itself to Ananda Bhavan and the brand Adyar Ananda Bhavan was thus born. Also known as A2B, the brand now operates 120 branches across India, predominantly in the south. A2B is known for its authentic Bengali sweets, all its varieties of soan papdi and dry fruits sweets.

Shree Mithai opened its door to all sweet lovers four decades ago. Gujarati sweet maker Shri K. N. Patel, founded a sweet empire that is today a household name for lip-smacking savories as well. The shop has the widest variety of sweets prepared with pure ghee. Shree Mithai has a string of mouth-watering sweets and their Badam Milk is known to be a sip of heaven, prepared with Saffron and quality ingredients sourced from all over India. Their Almond sweets are also a highlight.
