Poacher tops the list with its intriguing plot. Poacher, a Malayalam language crime drama TV miniseries is created by Richie Mehta. The show features Nimisha Sajayan, Roshan Mathew, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Kani Kusruti, Ranjitha Menon, and Maala Parvathi. The plot revolves around a group of Indian Forest Service officers, NGO workers, police constables, and Good Samaritans who take a great risk to track down the biggest elephant ivory poachers in India’s history and bring them to justice.

Captain Miller on Amazon Prime

Captain Miller, streaming from February 9th, starring Dhanush and Priyanka Mohan, is set in the 1930s. It tells the story of a courageous rebel who bravely stands up against his oppressors – the Britishers and the King. However, fate throws him a curveball, and he finds himself with only one chance to escape. Now he faces a choice: to live in anonymity or to fight for his people and his land. As the hero makes his decision, he realizes that the road ahead is much more challenging than he expected. However, he is not alone, and the noble people he meets along the way will stand by him all the way.

Blue Star

Blue Star, featuring Ashok Selvan, Shantanu Bhagyaraj, and Keerthi Pandian is a comedy sports drama, written and directed by S. Jayakumar and produced by Pa. Ranjith’s production house, Neelam Productions. Ashok Selvan playing Ranjith and Shantanu Bhagyaraj playing Rajesh are two crickete players who are struggling to make a name for themselves as a cricketer. The movie revolves around the challenges they face while trying to climb up the ladder to achieve their goals.

Saba Nayagan

Saba Nayagan, aired on February 14th, starring  Ashok Selvan, Megha Akash, Karthika M, and Chandini, written and directed by C. S. Karthikeyan is a romantic comedy, that revolves around the series of love stories in Aravind aka Saba’s life. Saba, who gets arrested for a nuisance narrates his love stories to the constables who tag along with Saba since his arrest.

Ayalaan

Ayalaan, aired on February 9th, is a sci-fi comedy film starring Sivakarthikeyan, Yogi Babu, Rakul Preet Singh, Sharad Kelkar, and Isha Kopikkar. The film’s plot revolves around a lost alien who lands on Earth and seeks the assistance of four friends to return to his home planet. However, the group must navigate through a series of obstacles as they are relentlessly pursued by hostile scientists who want to capture the alien for their own nefarious purposes. The character of the alien is voiced by actor Siddharth.

Malaikottai Valiban

Malaikottai Valiban is one of the most anticipated movies to be released on OTT. The epic action drama is directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery and written by P. S. Rafeeque from a story by Pellissery. The film features Mohanlal playing a dual role, along with Sonalee Kulkarni, Hareesh Peradi, Danish Sait, Manoj Moses, Katha Nandi, and Manikandan R. Achari in supporting roles. Malaikottai Vaaliban is the story of an aging fighter or warrior, who wanders from village to village, taking part in fights and winning accolades. One day, he gets into an argument with Chamathakan and then challenges him to a fight in his village, Mangodu.

Guntur Kaaram

Guntur Kaaram is an action-packed family drama, directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The film has Mahesh Babu. The film The story revolves around Ramana, a simpleton from Guntur, who cares for no one and keeps himself always busy with his work. Suddenly, his identity drags him into a political conspiracy against Minister of Law and Justice, Vasundhara. He is left with two options – either giving up that identity or fighting against the conspirators.

 Naadu

Naddu is a thought-provoking Tamil film written and directed by M. Saravanan. The movie has Tharshan and Mahima in the lead roles with Praveen Kumar Sobti, Singapuli, and R.S.Shivaji in supporting roles. The plot revolves around an urban-educated doctor who is transferred to a village to help mitigate the frequent spread of illnesses and diseases in the rural area. The movie portrays her efforts to adjust and adapt to the ways of the villagers.

Bhakshak

Bhakshak is a gripping movie featuring Bhumi Pednekar, Sanjay Mishra, and Aditya Srivastav. The movie is inspired by the true story of the Muzaffarpur women’s shelter case. The movie was produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under their production company – The Red Chillies  Entertainment. The movie is written and directed by  Pulkit. The story revolves around a local journalist who is fighting to make a name for herself in the industry. She stumbles upon a shocking discovery of harrowing cases of abuse being covered up at a shelter for young girls and decides to investigate the matter doggedly.

Singapore Saloon 

Singapore Saloon, written and directed by Gokul. RJ Balaji and Meenakshi Chaudhary play the lead roles. In addition, Lokesh Kanagaraj and Jiiva appear in cameo roles in the film. The coming-of-age film revolves around Kathir and Basheer, two friends from a village with big dreams. Kathir gets inspired by a local salon owner named Sacha and aspires to become a hairstylist. The story revolves around how he handles prejudices, and challenges in the way his passion, is and how he opens his salon, the “Singapore Saloon”.
