Inspired by true events, Aae Watan Mere Watan is a period drama movie set in 1942 in the colonial city of Bombay and revolves around a young girl called Usha Mehta who fights in the freedom struggle against the British in her own ways or to be more specific in her own voice. The movie is directed by Kannan Iyer and produced by Karan Johar and has a star-studded cast including Sara Ali Khan, Benedict Garrett, Alexx O’Nell, Sparsh Srivastav, Anand Tiwari, Abhay Verma, Richard Bhakti Klein, Godaan Kumar, Ashton Bessette, Priyanam Das, Ed Robinson, Manya Singh, Ankur Yadav, Garrvil Mohan.

Directed by Jai Mehta, this action thriller is set in the international waters of Somalia, where a Ukranian cargo ship is taken hostage by a gang of pirates and Vikrant Gandhi, who tries everything in his power to prevent the ship from reaching Mogadishu. Greed seems to be the driving theme of the series. The showrunners Hansal Mehta and Shailesh R Singh created this gripping thriller and have a versatile cast including ‘Love Enough Sir‘ fame Vivek Gomber along with Deepak Tijori, Rajat Kapoor, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Amruta Khanvilkar, Avanish Pandey, Gaurav K.
