Not very far from the previous place on the list, Broken Bridge is a very shady area in the city which also doubles as a popular spot for photo shoots for budding photographers and models. The place isn’t as haunted, than being scary. This is mainly due to the rumor that the area is supposedly home to illegal activities. But even then, it hasn’t stopped people from coming to this place to just hang out with their friends.

KARIKATTU KUPPAM

This fishing hamlet on ECR was hit hard by the tsunami in 2004 where numerous people lost their lives. Since then, this place has been deserted and unoccupied due to the eeriness of the place. There is even a temple in the area which people don’t visit, owing to the haunted feeling that exists. Local rumors say that the ghosts of an old man and a child who drowned in the tsunami still surround the area at night

BLUE CROSS ROAD

Chennai’s Blue Cross has been doing some really good work over the past few years, which hasn’t gone unnoticed. But what many people don’t know is that the Blue Cross Lane is supposedly haunted. In fact, it is even considered one of the most haunted places in India due to the high number of suicides that have been committed on this road. Trees cover this road and there is very little sunlight even during the day. People have reported incidences of seeing white apparitions on the road, which account for the spookiness of the road.
