The ongoing Lakme Fashion Week has witnessed some really fresh trends by some upcoming and some established designers. The Day 3 of the Summer/Resort week was all about whites and nudes. Joining the bandwagon was Anushree Reddy whose collection was all about flowy floor length Anarkalis and linen lehengas. With delicate thread work and nude floral prints the collection looked angelic and summer-ready.

 

 

The latest trend to hit the runways is the overcoat over kurta look which Arjun Kapoor sported at Manish Malhotra’s show on Day 1. Following the trend was Antar-Agni! The collection was mostly cotton kurtas with lose palazzos and overcoats for men and women. The outfits were a blend of traditional and western style with asymmetric cuts!

 

 

Rahul and Shikha’s collection was a little more colorful than the rest of the designers. The duo added a colorful dash of floral prints and threadwork on long and flowy kurtas teamed with palazzos! Looks like palazzos are here to stay this season!
