Hansika Motwani
Move over millennial’s pink, the new millennial’s purple is what should be under your radar for this season. We love Haniska’s over-sized on-trend purple blazer that she paired with black bralet and shimmered high-waist Culotte pants. She went bold with her accessories and accessorised her outfit with layered jewellery, huge plate earrings and ring. Wedges, hair down and the smile complete this looks making it a “yay” for the week.
Verdict: Yay! Move into millennial’s purple
Rakul Preet
Is orange and pink the new Red and pink? Rakul say’s yes! Shades of sunset hues, be it marigold yellow or candy orange has been trending for a while now. The orange turtle neck mididress with slit is paired to perfection with on trend starppy pink heels and gold ring in every finger. This look can be easily imitated for cocktail parties.
Verdict: Yay! Orange & pink the new B&W
Taapsee Pannu
Yet another version of pantusuit and monotone dressing, we are starting to get a bit tired of this look. We love the pastel, floral print, flared pants and the kitten heels. But the ruffled shirt really does not sit well with the already looking heavy blazer and adds bulk to the outfit. A tank or a lighter top might have done the trick.
Verdict: Nay! Too bulky
Amala Paul
She does look pretty but the outfit looks very incomplete. The supposed to be ethnic crop looks a little like a saree blouse. Maybe a bit of jewelry, say a statement choker, more bangles would have worked well with the look.
Verdict: Nay! Incomplete
Kajal Aggarwal
Kajal was seen wearing an Indian classic embroidery kurta with sharara pants and simple jewelry that includes a statement Jhumka. She carried off the look elegantly with hair down and minimal makeup. What we love the most is the pastel shawl with blush pink floral design that adds a touch of class to the entire outfit.
Verdict: Yay! Indian classic
