Yay or Nay: JFW’s Weekly Fashion Report Card!

Check it out!

The week had stars making fashion statements and blunders, so we bring you the best and the worst dressed of the week. Great stylists or great fashion choices, these South Indian celebs are no less in comparison to international stars who make heads turn and give fashion enthusiasts a run for their money! From wearing traditionals to funky Indo-western outfits, here are actresses styling it up with each event they head to!

Regina Cassandra

The week began with the New Year and so did Regina Cassandra. This picture was the first post on Regina’s social media in 2019, foreshadowing a fun year ahead. She’s fun, she’s sassy and shows off her quirky side in this picture, welcoming the New Year with a lot of excitement. This dress in particular looks as quirky and laidback as her!

Verdict: Yay!

Raiza Wilson

Raiza Wilson showed off some pictures of herself currently travelling abroad and she sure has that holiday glow. Her simple red dress makes quite a statement, and she ensures that you can have a good look at it and how even on holiday, she gets her fashion game right. Not to forget that wavy hair that often comes with a chilled out vacation!

Verdict: Yay!

Aishwarya Rajesh

With her film Kanaa releasing in Kerala, Aishwarya Rajesh headed to God’s own country and wore different shades of red. While the first one is a regular silk maroon kurta, the second one is a red chili coloured ethnic lehenga-dress that Aishwarya looks rather comfortable in. While red is a safe choice, she nails the look!

Verdict: Yay!

Rakul Preet

Rakul Preet starts off the year with a pop of colour! Wearing an ethnic yellow jacket with regular jeans and a black top, Rakul appears to really stand out because of the jacket. While it’s not unappealing per se, we really wish her hairdo was a little more fun as opposed to simply tying it up in a ponytail – would’ve really complemented the jacket.

Verdict: Nay.

Anupama Parameswaran

When it comes to dressing up, Anupama always likes to dress up according to her age. She chooses fun colours with even more fun accessories and hairdos. This outfit, while being quite nice for a get-together, somehow feels a bit overdone with the make-up and accessories. Quite all over the place, we wish the eyeshadows would’ve been toned down a bit and the hair a little less unnaturally wavy.

Verdict: Nay.
