Yay or Nay: JFW’s Weekly Fashion Report Card!

Check it out!

The week had stars making fashion statements and blunders, so we bring you the best and the worst dressed of the week. Great stylists or great fashion choices, these South Indian celebs are no less in comparison to international stars who make heads turn and give fashion enthusiasts a run for their money! From wearing traditionals to funky Indo-western outfits, here are actresses styling it up with each event they head to!

Keerthy Suresh

At the movie launch of her next Telugu film, Keerthy Suresh stuck to Indian attires, something that has become her trademark style in the last one year. Dressed in yellow, white and gold, Keerthy looks rather vibrant and truly lives up to the occasion.

Verdict: Yay!

Aditi Rao Hydari

At a recent awards function, Aditi stuck to an evening black dress. Usually black is considered to be every celebs’ go-to colour but Aditi makes it her own in her special way, with minimal make-up and hairstyle so as to not take the attention away from the gorgeous evening gown.

Verdict: Yay!

Hansika Motwani

Hansika has been experimenting with fashion lately, taking a whole lot of risks. This outfit, too, is quite the risk but she pulls it off like a pro. Not only is there a sexy vibe to this whole look, she looks rather comfortable in it and showcases why one needs to get out of the usual boring conventional outfits sometimes.

Verdict: Yay!

Tamannaah

Dressed in a bronze gown, while it is attractive to look at, one wishes it would have been less drab and more vibrant, something that matches her chirpy personality. She is someone who is aware of what outfit colours look good on her and while bronze is an otherwise nice colour, it looks too uninteresting on her.

Verdict: Nay.

Vidya Balan

Vidya Balan has emerged as the woman of the moment, with her debut in Telugu cinema in NTR Kathanayakudu. For several of the film’s promotions and events, she wore a number of Indian outfits and let her hair loose. Out of all the outfits, this plain white Indian ensemble is our favourite. A major departure from her usual sarees, Vidya looks so elegant and regale in this plain number.

Verdict: Yay!
