Whether it was OK Kanmani’s Tara or Tara from Praana, Nithya Menen has managed to seamlessly integrate herself into her roles and enthrall us with her performance.
She has chosen to do yet another role that is sure to add a feather to her cap. It has been reported that the actor is all set to explore the world of humour. Along with Menen, Satyadev Kancharana and Rahul Ramakrishna will also be seen in a lead role.
Talking to JFW about her newly chosen fascinating role, Nithya said, “It is a period film and depicts satirical comedy. This is honestly one of the most exciting things I have heard. I am absolutely excited and surprised at the quality of the writing and the narrative script because I have never heard of a script and story like this before. In fact, there have never been stories like these in the Telugu film industry even. It is a one-of-a-kind satirical comedy and the way this film and the storyline would be treated would be a very refreshing take on the film.”
Talking about her excitement to begin shooting, Nithya says, ” I am really looking forward to being a part of this exceptional film. I think it’s going to be one of those films that will entertain. The two hours of the film would transport the audience to a rather different world. I completely believe in the makers of this film. They are very talented and passionate and that is what makes the film equally special. I cannot wait to watch this film onscreen myself.”
The film will be produced by KFC Entertainments who have been prime distributors for films like Arjun Reddy and Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya. Reportedly, the story, a period drama, is set up in the year 1979 which would have a background of Skylab, the first United States space station that was launched by NASA in the early 1970s.
The film is touted to be directed by Vishvak Khanderao who has also written the dialogue and screenplay of the story. Talking about the film in a recent interview, the director Vishvak said, “The film will be a slice of a life drama that will be high on comedy and emotions.”
