The couple met each other in a theatre at the screening of Dhanush’s Kadhal Kondaen, followed by which Aishwarya  Rajinikanth sent him a bouquet as a token of appreciation with a note that read “Good work, Keep in touch”, the duo immediately hit off from there. In 2004 they tied the knot and welcomed their first child Yatra in 2006 and Linga in 2010. After 18 years of marriage, the couple decided to part ways for unknown reasons. 2 years after the official announcement, Dhanush and Aishwarya have recently filed for Divorce by mutual consent at the Chennai High Court. Amidst the divorce, the former couple still maintain an amicable relationship, speaking positively about each other in media interviews and attending their children’s school meetings and events together.
