Its been two months since the huge Sam-Chay fairytale wedding. Samantha and her clothes were the most talked about. There was once a rumour that Sam would be wearing a special South Indian woven saree that was owned and adorned by the groom’s grandmother D.Rajeswari, the wife of legendary filmmaker D. Ramanaidu. However, this just turned out to be a rumour and Sam chose Sabyasachi on her special day. After quite some time, the designer shared details of her gorgeous wedding saree.
However, that was not the issue – the Kolkata designer called her a bride from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. That’s when people from Hyderabad came to the designer’s rescue and corrected him.
Well, like they rightfully said, Sam is half Malayali and half Telugu. Sabyasachi along with this also gave details of the bride’s saree. It read, “Meet Samantha Akkineni @samantharuthprabhuoffl a Sabyasachi bride wears an Ivory gold Kanjeevaram saree from our ‘Vasanthalaxmi’ Collection and pairs it with a red silk embroidered blouse.”
