Actor-turned-politician Vijayakanth has been facing health issues for the past several years. Recently, the DMDK Party head visited Singapore for a surgery and returned only a while back. After that, Vijayakanth stayed and rested at home and was never seen in any of the Party meetings.

However, reportedly, the Party celebrated the 14th year of DMDK at the actor’s residence on the 14th of September which was the first ever public meeting he had attended in several months. He hoisted the DMDK flag at his home and distributed sweets to his Party members. He further discussed about the poverty issues and all the necessary actions to be taken against that.

Reports further add that Vijayakanth has been tested positive for the Coronavirus and has been undergoing treatment at a Private hospital in Manapakkam.
