Pictures: 7 Times Sarees Ruled The Runway This Year!

Draping dreams!

Right from January until June, award functions across the country saw divas step out in princess-like gowns and uber chic numbers. However, what caught our attention was the number of actresses who opted for sarees to make a style statement.

Whether it was Sonam in Cannes or Nayathara on the SIIMA red carpet, all the leading ladies draped themselves into the 9 yards to leave a stunning fashion statement.

Also, looks like ivory, off-white and and softer shades have been the most sought after colours for the first half of this year. Simple was the motto on the red carpert. Our favourite is Nayanthara’s neon orange blouse and plane white saree with statement necklace; artsy!! We take you though 7 most stunning saree looks of this year.
