Recently, Nithya Menen was at the receiving end of such false rumours that this web portal published and spread about her.

A post was doing the rounds of social media which quoted Nithya Menen saying that she was harassed by a Tamil hero during shooting and that she faced a lot of problems in the Tamil film industry. It was picked up and circulated by various other gossip pages. When the news reached her, she slammed the gossip mangers and made sure everyone knew that there was no truth to this. She had never said anything like this and spreading false rumours like this just harms her reputation in the industry where she is so deeply loved. She put put a statement on social media that said, “ Its very sad that certain sections of journalism have comes down to this. I urge you- Be Better than this!”
