Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan’s story is one for the books. Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan tied the knot last year on the 9th of June. They are undoubtedly one of Kollywood’s cutest couples. Nayanthara was the lead heroine in Vignesh Shivan’s Naanum Rowdy Dhaan and that’s where the pair first met. Rumours about the couple’s connection began to spread when they were seen together in several photographs. Soon after, Mansoor Ali Khan, who played a politician in the film, discussed how the couple talked for hours on end while filming during one of the press conferences for the movie. On stage, Vignesh Shivan simply laughed it off without taking it seriously. But they took their time to announce their relationship to the world.

The couple made their relationship official when they walked in as a couple to an award show in Singapore. While Vignesh Shivan got on the stage to collect his “Best Director Award” on stage, he mentioned Nayanthara in his speech and called her the “best human being”.

The wedding took place in Mahabalipuram at the Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa. Their guest list comprised family, friends and the who’s who from the film industry. Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Surya, Ajith, Karthi and so many stars graced the star-studded wedding. But the part that truly melted our hearts was that they offered Sadiya to 18000 children at various Tamil Nadu orphanages.

Vignesh Shivan posts actively on social media and often expresses his love for his lady love, Nayanthara. Through his social media, we get to see the couple’s personal sojourns. Whether it’s trip to Thailand or Spain, they have always been travel buffs. Vignesh Shivan refers to her as Thangamey, Kanmani and also calls her “his uyir” (his life). Nayanthara joined Instagram this month and her followers reached 5.8 million in no time.

The couple welcomed twins through surrogacy on 9th October 2022 and named them Uyir RudroNeel N Shivan and Ulag Daiwik N Shivan. Today the twins celebrate their first day, for which the family has traveled to Malaysia.

The insta handle has been blowing up as the followers are waiting to buy the products from her brand. It’s a great time for the couple, with the success of Jawan and the launch of her skincare brand!
