Beginnings: Quest for beauty
The brand, Jiore Skincare is a brain child of the cosmetologist from Atlanta, U.S.A, Ms. Jhansi Rani Vedachalam, she started out selling the facial soaps through e-commerce platform with Formulations from South Korea. The concept of facial soaps is the first of its kind in India and the brand Jiore is a proud monopoly in this segment. The focus of the brand then became to create products which are highly effective and the ones that actually work unlike the once we come across every day in advertisements.
At Jiore, each product is aimed at certain performance. For example Litlip, is a product for lips that help in lightening of lips by removing hyper pigmentation. It gets rid of smokers’ lips and is also for people who have naturally hyper pigmented & Discolored lips for lightening. The brand has many products focusing on even skin tone & haircare which includes Serum Face wash, Toners, Hair oil, Eyelash, Beard oil, Dark Circles, Lips, face and body clear skin and Lightening.
Take-off: Went Viral in less than one year of launch
Jiore went online in July 2018 with just 2 products. It has always been a brand that listens to its customers and their needs. With overwhelming results and response received for its products, the brand went ahead launching more products within one year’s time.
The official page on Instagram hit 100k followers giving the brand a major moral boost.
An empowering brand:
The Chief of the brand is focused on women empowerment, with the products aiding and promoting confidence to its customers, 80% of the brand’s employees are Housewives, with flexible work timing, most of them being a financial support pillar for their respective family. Jiore as a brand will continue striving to support women.
Company is in talks with many female graduates particularly women who are eyeing the e-commerce route & does not have the resources to start. Women wanting to continue their career and have children can find flexibility and balance in their decisions. We try to show them it’s not all-or-nothing and you don’t have to sacrifice one for the other.
Sharing about the expansion plans, Jiore Skincare’s boss Jhansi Rani Vedachalam Says, “The idea of starting my venture sounded very alien to many , however as some women around started to use products word spread by mouth. Thus was born Jiore Skincare. We did have challenges before us and more so as single women, times were not rated that well for business acumen. Now we have a full range of products and adopting E-commerce model products online”.
“We have our Jiore Skincare Studio at Velachery and starting our second experience center in T-Nagar, and we are in the process of finalising dealers in Northern states. Plan is to have 100 outlets in next two years pan India. We will have shop in shop, company owned Exclusive Brand outlets as well. We are planning to include more & more women entrepreneur who have the interest but do not have the resources. We might be able to help them in setting up their venture and to have financial independence”
We will strive to create more effective products with No steroids or harmful elements so that everyone can benefit for it. We are also planning to launch multiple experience centers all across the country
