Hit Or Miss: Fashion Lessons From Last Week!

Check it out!

Last week had stars making fashion statements and blunders, so we bring you the best and the worst dressed of the week. From wearing traditionals to funky Indo-western outfits, here are actresses styling it up with each event they head to!

Tamannaah Bhatia

Wearing an outfit by Self-Portrait, Tamannaah really ups her style game with fashionable beach waves pinned on one side. She looks like a girl-next-door with a tinge of glamour, with the dress really winning here. We only wish she chose a more noticeable colour for her stilettos.

Verdict: Hit!

Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra got engaged to her boyfriend, Nick Jonas, this weekend and everybody cannot stop going ‘awww!’. Not only do they make a cute pair, their traditional engagement ceremony had the two of them wearing Indian attires and killing it! PC’s lemon yellow salwaar kameez truly stands out, where she goes away from the usual colours.

Verdict: Hit!

Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt attended PC and Nick Jonas’ engagement party in an all-black evening gown but with a twist. The crescent moon and stars with a few writing on it gave off casual and glamorous vibes, but perhaps not right for the occasion.

Verdict: Miss

Samantha Akkineni

Dressed in Zara, Gucci, Dior and Louboutin, Samantha made heads turn with this slightly strange outfit which totally works in her favour though. The theme being black and gold, she pulls of the shoes and the tunic and pants with grace, but should have perhaps gone for a bun instead of setting her hair loose.

Verdict: Hit!

Shruti Haasan

Shruti Haasan for the Independence Day parade channelled her inner rock star, with clothes that were inspired from the 70s. Jazzy and classy, the outfit, however, is a far cry from the theme. Albeit a messy hair updo, she could’ve tried something a little different. Needless to say she stands out, but it could have been better.

Verdict: Miss
