Last week had stars making fashion statements and blunders, so we bring you the best and the worst dressed of the week. From wearing traditionals to funky Indo-western outfits, here are actresses styling it up with each event they head to!

 

Hansika Motwani

Pant suits are in and thank the fashionistas for that! Something that is often associated with men is now an inclusive attire that has women slaying it like never before. Hansika Motwani is a prime example. At a recent event in Chennai, the actress wore sky blue pants and blazer with a plain white camisole underneath, from the clothing brand Massimo Dutti. Keeping it simple and classy, her make-up was minimal too but her hairdo was what made it more different, opting for a messy bun as opposed to the conventional loose hair.

Verdict: Yay!

 

 

Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh has been slaying all events lately with her impeccable sense of dressing. From someone who started out safe with her outfits, Keerthy has been experimenting with colours and styles, going for a mix of traditional and western that makes it all the more elegant. At the audio launch of her film ‘Sarkar’, Keerthy wore a contemporarised drape sari pants from Posh Pride, a pret-a-couture label by Prerna Khetrapal. Her jewellery, lovely silver jhumkas, are from Amrapali. The only qualm here is the hairdo, which could’ve been a little less dull.

Verdict: Yay!

 

 

Deepika Padukone

That simple yet classy floral saree captivated all at a recent event that Deepika Padukone attended. In a sleek bun and nude make-up, Deepika was a sight to behold in this gorgeous thin saree that she wore as though it was exclusively made for her. The tinge of green in her metallic jewellery, too, adds more charm to her elegant retro look.

Verdict: Yay!

But while she slays it here, she did, however, catch a lot of attention for an outfit completely different. In what appears to be a lungi-dress, Deepika was snapped at the airport looking rather different and became a subject of meme makers, too!

Verdict: Nay!

 

 

Taapsee Pannu

Taapsee has spunk that few Bollywood actresses display and that sometimes translate into the way she styles herself for events. Something different, out of the ordinary and catchy. However, at a recent mobile launch, Taapsee showed up in a less flattering outfit. The design is nothing great and not particularly an outfit to remember. Her hair, too, doesn’t make it dressy enough. While it’s not a bad choice of outfit, it just isn’t matching to her usual bubbly personality.

Verdict: Meh.
