There was once a rumour that Sam would be wearing a special South Indian woven saree that was owned and adorned by the groom’s grandmother D.Rajeswari, the wife of legendary filmmaker D. Ramanaidu. However, this just turned out to be a rumour and Sam chose Sabyasachi on her special day. She wore an Ivory gold Kanjeevaram saree from the designer’s ‘Vasanthalaxmi’ Collection and paired it with a red silk embroidered blouse.
