Intrusive thoughts are unexpected images or thoughts that seem to pop into your head. These are thoughts that come to you even though you don’t want to really think about them. Intrusive thoughts can be within a range of subjects including violence, diseases, death, blasphemy, etc. Some of these thoughts may also translate into your dreams, and give you nightmares. If you are facing too many of these intrusive thoughts, then it is most likely that you suffer from an anxiety disorder.
