Super Deluxe, a Tamil film produced written and directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja. It features Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Samantha Akkineni, Ramya Krishnan, Mysskin and Bagavathi Perumal. P.S.Vinod and Nirav Shah are handling cinematography, Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music director. Additional Screenplay by Nalan Kumarasamy, Neelan K Shekar and Mysskin.
The actress also has Seema Raja that stars Sivakarthikeyan. A village drama, Seema Raja is directed by Ponram. But what really stands out is the fact that Samantha is all set to kick butts in this film! She has learnt Silambam, a weapon-based martial art of India, more specifically in the state of Tamil Nadu, where it originated around 1000 BC.
She also has U-Turn in Telugu and Tamil in the pipeline. Samantha will play the role of an investigative journalist who reports on the series of deaths of motorists at a particular flyover. Directed by Pawan Kalyan, the film was initially made in Kannada starring Shraddha Srinath in 2016. The film went on to be widely appreciated, prompting the film to be remade in the other two South Indian languages.
