The last time Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai were seen together on screen was Devdas which released in 2002. If industry sources are to be believed, the blockbuster duo will be back on screen for Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The movie has an ensemble cast with Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aiswarya Rai and Fawad Khan. Now, sources close to the actor say that SRK will make a special appearance as Aishwarya Rai’s husband in ADHM.
‘Saif was earlier supposed to do the cameo and he had even shot for it. But then, Karan spoke to SRK who will be replacing him in the film. SRK plays Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s husband who dies in the film. It’s after his death that Ash gets closer to Ranbir Kapoor’s character.’
