Aamani was counted among the top three stars of the 90s in Telugu film industry! She acted in over 45 films and almost every movie of her was a blockbuster. At the peak of her career she took a break from and married Tamil producer Hazrath and many media reports said she changed her name!
However most recently, she came back on screen and has been doing supporting roles in Telugu movies. Her movie Chandamama Kathalu won the National award for best feature film in Telugu in 2014. However, the actress has been missing from the industry for the past two years. Her most memorable movies were Jamba Lakidi Bamba, Mister Pellam, Shubha Lagnam, Gharana Bullodu and many more.
