Charms are like good memories and Priyanka’s charm necklace also has some deep memories of her father that she carries them wherever she goes. In an interview, she has shared her fond for the charm necklace.
Like every other girl, Priyanka loved her father whom she lost to cancer four years back. When your beloved person is in deathbed, you seek the help of superstitious things hoping that it would help your loved one recover. Priyanka’s family too brought healing chrams from different countries to help her father who was suffering from cancer since 2005.
The necklace was first with only one emerald stone which was recommended by a pundit in India to her family. It has a photo of Harikan Baba, a spiritual guru her family believes in. Other charms include diamond and gold Om, Ayatul Kursi (muslim prayer engraved in gold) and has two unique rudhrakshas which are Priyanka’s favourites.
“The world may be my oyster, but there’s something about where you come from- and this necklace makes me feel rooted. It’s part of my identity”, she added.
