We’re are actually having a laugh! We can’t believe we’re writing a story like this and for the record, it’s 2016 FFS! If you still don’t know what we’re talking about, then here is the big weekend slut-shaming story for you. 23-year-old actress, Sonarika Bhadoria was the victim of super sexist remarks and shame yesterday! The young actress plays the role of Goddess Parvati in the hit mythological television series, Devon ke Dev Mahadev!
Sonarika recently went on a beach holiday and the internet couldn’t handle it. She put the below pictures and then had to delete it as online ‘fans’ of Goddess Parvati (onscreen one) were not pleased. She received sexist remarks and really offensive comments. This is not the first time this has happened.

Before Sonarika, Mouni Roy played the role of Parvati and she was also the victim of super misogynistic views online and offline.
Bigg Boss winner Urvashi Dholokia played the role of Komolika Basu in hit series Kasauti Zindagi Ki and the hatred she received offline was unacceptable.
Though Dirty Picture was a blockbuster, many fans of the otherwise ‘traditional’ Vidya Balan were upset with her portraying 80s item girl Silk Smitha.
Recently, former porn-star (we had to mention in this case) was a victim of super-sexist interview on a National news channel only because of her on screen performance in adult movies.
There have been many instances when a particular star is shamed for their onscreen roles! Now is that right?
