One of the most anticipating films of the year was ‘Saamy 2’ with Trisha alongside Chiyaan Vikram and Keerthi Suresh. However, in a shocking tweet, Trisha had confirmed she has chosen to opt out of the Magnum Opus. The prequel to the film was a huge success and the Vikram-Trisha pair is was welcomed by the audience.

Trisha had said, “Due to creative differences, I have chosen to opt out of Saamy 2. Wishing the team good luck.” However, according to reports, the ‘Mohini’ actress opted out of the film as she felt that Keerthi had more substance and role in the film than her.

Saamy 2 plot was revealed as starring two Vikrams’ in the lead as a father and son duo with Trisha playing the wife of the elder one and Keerthy Suresh playing the love interest of the younger. It is alleged that playing the mother character has irked Trisha and prompted her to exit the same.
It went so far as to the producers going to the Producers Council and launching a complaint against Trisha after which they were said to be resolving the issue amicably.

Now, Keerthy Suresh finally opened up about what happened with Trisha’s exit as she said. “I don’t even have a combination scene with Trisha. How come I’m responsible for her exit from the film? I really don’t know about that and never I’ll poke my nose into those stuff”. “Don’t blame me for everything, I’m a no-nonsense actress” she said sternly! She also clarified that sharing screen space is not a problem at all for her and that she has done it for several movies before.
