Hansika has not done many roles that have shined through. However, in a recent, she is doing a film with her first ever director Prabhu Deva who introduced her with the film ‘Engeyum Kadhal’ alongside Jayam Ravi. The change is that Prabhu is the hero himself here and the movie is one of the most expected. Hansika also revealed a trivia, she said:“Prabhu Deva is her first Tamil film’s director, previous film’s (Bogan) producer, and the current film’s (Gulaebaghavali) hero”.

However, Hansika has chosen a tricky role for herself here. She will be playing the role of a thief in the film.

Also talking about the film, Prabhu Deva said that it will be a fun comedy action film which he used to do in 90’s.He further added, “Revathy mam plays an important role in the film. Though I’m familiar with this genre, she enjoyed doing her role”.

The film has been certified a ‘U’ and has been directed by newbie Kalyan. The trailer was unveiled on YouTube and Produced by KJR Studios of Aramm fame, Gulaebhagavali is slated to release for this Pongal 2018 along with Suriya’s ‘Thaana Serndha Kootam’.
