Director Vignesh Shivan has trolled in a sarcastic manner the Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) for issuing ‘UA’ and ‘A’ certificates to recent quality Tamil films. At the same time a lot of mass masala films like ‘Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva’ were given U certificate!

Vignesh took it to so social media to express his views. In his post, he said, “#Dora – A certificate #Managaram -U/A #D16 -U/A. But,Certain films were gifted with U-recently. Loving our Censor Board more & more, day by day.”

In Tamil Nadu, only U certified movies are eligible for tax exemption and hence, producers of all these above said movies had faced huge financial burden for the theatrical release.

Vignesh Shivan has also updated that in April, Suriya fans can expect first look, song teaser of his upcoming film ‘Thaanaa Serndha Koottam’.

Nayanthara was last seen in the movie ‘Kaashmora’ alongside Karthi Sivakumar. She is currently awaiting the release of her horror film ‘Dora’. She also is currently shooting for Murugadoss’ ‘Aram’ and ‘Kolaiyudhir Kalam’.

While Vignesh Shivan lastly directed the movie ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhan’ with Vijay Sethupathi and his girlfriend Nayanthara. He is currently shooting for ‘Thaana Serndha Kootam’ with Suriya Sivakumar, Keerthi Suresh and RJ Bala
