The Story Of Kousalya Krishnamoorthy: How Aishwarya Rajesh Won Hearts From Kaaka Muttai To Kanaa!

She is a born star!

Talk about choosing wise scripts and Aishwarya Rajesh comes first to mind. But, that’s not it, wise scripts and talent go hand-in-hand making her an actress we all love watching onscreen. Her roles have always been realistic and her performances are refreshing. Be it the beautiful Malarvizhi from Pannaiyarum Padminiyum or the mother of the two little boys from Kaaka Mutta, she has owned the characters she has portrayed, completely.

Although she began her career with small budget films she is now one of the busiest actresses with a variety of roles and genres. Through her pure dedication and talent, she has become the choice of many A-list directors like Mani Ratnam, Vetrimaran, Gautam Menon, etc. Her role as a Sri Lankan Tamil Renu stood out shining in Mani Ratnam’s multistarrer film Chekka Chivandha Vaanam and the role of Padma in Vada Chennai were some of the high points of 2018 for Aishwarya.

She had earlier added more feathers to her cap by her natural performances in the Malayalam films Jomonte Suviseshangal and Sakhavu co-starring Nivin Pauly. She subtly yet successfully stepped into the Malayalam industry with these films.

Last year this 28-year-old actress ended the year in style with Kanaa which was centred around her character. This film was actor Sivakarthikeyan’s maiden venture as a producer. It was an intense social drama that took on the concept that women can play cricket too. Sathyaraj, famous for playing Katappa in the Baahubali films, played a farmer and her father. It was also the directorial debut of Arunraja Kamaraj.

Now, ‘Kanaa’ is being remade in Tollywood and is being directed by Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao. Kanaa’s music director Dhibu Ninan is handling the scoring duties of the Telugu version too. The movie titled ‘Kousalya Krishnamoorthy’ will see veteran actor Rajendra Prasad playing Sathyaraj’s role while Karthik Raju, Vennela Kishore, Rangasthalam Mahesh, and Jhansi form the rest of the cast. It is interesting to note that Sivakarthikeyan is expected to reprise his role of the coach in the Telugu version too. Sources informed that his portions alone are being dubbed in Telugu.

It is also Aishwarya Rajesh’s entry into Tollywood and the actress is already being welcomed into the industry with appreciation and applause for her film’s teaser which was unveiled by actor and superstar Chiranjeevi. Through the teaser we yet again get to experience the hard-hitting journey of Kausalya Krishnamoorthy.

Apart from these, Aishwarya has a quite a packed line-up of films. She will  be seen in Gautham Menon’s Dhruva Natchathiram and will be seen doning the role of Sivakarthikeyan’s sister in his next directed by Pandiaraj. She also has two more films opposite Vijay Sethupathi in the offing

We wish her a very successful career ahead!
