Vivek’s performance as Kaashmora’s father is remarkable. The film has a large amount of humour packed in but somewhere, a few characters were very insignifcant. Sri Divya’s character in the film is not a value addition to the movie other than being just another pretty face. Karthi’sperformance as the black magic healer and a badass villain are both commendable. Nayanthara literally steals the show with her stunning look. However, looks speak louder than perfromance.
Kaashmora fails to deliver both logic and what could’ve been a refreshing story is not refreshing after all. The VFX and background score have to be appreciated. On the whole, Kaashmora is a movie that can be watched for sheer entertainment and nothing else.
Stars: 2 and a half
Verdict: A one-time watch for the humour, the VFX and the one and only, Karthi.
