Earlier it was rumored that just like Karthi, who has three roles in the film, Nayanthara too will have three characters to play in Kaashmora. We now learn that Nayan will only be part of the periodic bit which is the main crux of the movie.
Nayanthara plays the role of queen, Ratnamahadevi and looks menacing in the posters from the film. In an interview, Nayanthara revealed that she had accepted Kaashmora two years back, and she had allotted only 12 days to Dream Warrior Pictures, after knowing that she will be appearing only in the period part of the film where her screen space will be 30 minutes. But what attracted her to the role was the character which is powerful and gave her ample scope to do the role of a queen which she has not attempted so far. The actress ended up shooting for almost 35 days as this period bit in Kaashmora is one of big highlights in the film.
