From lover to mother.
Sujatha plays the role of Rajinikanth’s wife in the movie Avargal. Her role is that of a woman torn between the man she loves and her former husband who wants to reunite with her. She later played the role of Rajini’s mother in the movies, Baba and Uzhaipali.
Sukanya and Kamal Haasan
In Mahanadi (1994), Sukanya plays the love interest of Kamal Haasan. Later in Indian, she played the role of Kamal’s mother.
2023 has been a year of blockbuster massy films, but the true winners this year are movies like these, narratives that leave an impact, and emotions so raw and real, that you are instantly connected.
At 2 hours and 45 minutes, the film did seem dragged in the second half, but at the same time, it’s packed with twists and turns and unexpected revelations.
