The gone by weekend was by far the most deserted as two countries holding various differences played a sport together. The India and Pakistan match was super nail-biting and something so scary and important for both the countries. In a row of exciting incidents, India lost the match to Pakistan and hence, making them the deserving Champions for the night. While both teams did their best, many thrashed the Indian players on social media while some took up sports as sports, remained calm, supported their country’s team and congratulated the winners.

While this scenario is witnessed in almost every India, Pakistan match, yesterday witnessed some togetherness and sanity. Amidst celebrities tweeting about both the teams, Sania Mirza tweeted as well. The tennis player has always been asked this question – which team do you support? India or Pakistan? As she is an Indian married to Pakistan’s ace cricketer Shoaib Malik.

Pakistan thumped India by 180 runs in the final of ICC Champions Trophy 2017 at the Oval. The Sarfraz Ahmed-led side after being put into bat by Indian skipper Virat Kohli in London scored a mammoth 338/4 in allotted 50 overs. Opener Fakhar Zaman and Azhar Ali gave Pakistan a perfect start as the two put on the 128-run stand for the first wicket. Ali was run out after a mix-up between the two batsmen.
