Actor Vishnu Vishal, who recently made waves in the Tamil film ‘Ratchasan’ – a psychological thriller, has announced his divorce. The actor shared a note to all his fans and followers on social media that things hadn’t been working out for a while with his former wife Rajini Natraj.

“I wish to inform you all that Rajini and I have been separated for over a year and now legally divorced. We have a beautiful son and our top priority will always be to co-parent our kid and give him the best,” he shared. He also said that they will remain friends since this was a mutual decision and he wants people to respect his privacy.

Vishal Vishnu married Rajini Natraj, daughter of the actor K. Natraj, in 2011 at Chennai’s Hotel Asiana. Rajini was Vishnu’s junior at the college and the two were in a relationship for 4 years before getting married. Their son, Aryan, was born on 30 January last year.
