5 Must Try Sugary Christmas Recipes!

Lemon &Cinnamon cookie

Almond powder                      –           100gm

Castor sugar                            –           100gm

Marzipan                                 –           20gm

Egg whites                               –           1each

Cinnamon powder                  –           2gm

Cocoa powder                         –           2gm

Lemon skin and juice              –           1each

Flour                                        –           25 gm

Method:

  1. Beat egg white and sugar.
  2. Add lemon juice and skin
  3. Add all the dry ingredients
  4. Fold it still all mix together
  5. Sheet the dough and cut star shape
  6. Line into baking tray and bake @180° C for 15 to 18 minutes.
  7. Decorate with marzipan with your desired colour.

 

Ginger & nuts cookies

Flour                                        –           100gm

Sugar                                       –           200gm

Eggs                                         –           7nos

Baking soda                             –           4tsp

Cinnamon powder                  –           2gm

Salt                                          –           1gm

Butter                                      –           100gm

Golden syrup                           –           2 tsp

Ginger powder                        –           2tsp

Method:

  1. Shift all these  ingredients Flour,sugar,soda,cinnamon,salt and ginger to the large mixing bowl
  2. Rub in butter until mixture has a very fine crumb consistency
  3. Beat eggs with golden syrup add to dry ingredients
  4. Work into firm dough with hands .roll teaspoonful into small balls
  5. Bake @ 180° C for 15 minutes

White Chocolate Plum brownie

Butter                                      –                       320gm

White chocolate                      –                       1 kg

Sugar                                       –                       1kg

Eggs                                         –                       13 gm

All purpose flour                     –                       370gm

Baking powder                        –                       5gm

Rum soaked dry fruits & Nuts –                       150gm

Method:

  1. Melt the white chocolate & butter
  2. Mix the sugar and the egg, mix both the mixture together
  3. Add all the dry ingredients and fold well
  4. Bake @ 180°C for 30 minutes

 

Christmas plum cake

Butter                                      –                       90gm

Brown Sugar                           –                       100gm

Egg                                          –                       3 no

Rum soaked fruits & Nuts       –                       300gm

Flour                                        –                       70gm

Coco Powder                           –                       10gm

Baking powder                        –                       4gm

Mixed spice powder               –                       5gm

 

Method:

  1. Beat butter ,sugar till soft
  2. Add egg
  3. Add all the dry ingredients and fold well
  4. Bake @ 180°C for 45 minutes

 

Eggless date & walnut cake

Dates Chopped            –                       250gm

Clarified butter           –                       180 ml

Caster Sugar               –                       250gm

Milk                             –                       180 ml

Flour                            –                       500gm

Cooking soda               –                       8gm

Walnuts crushed         –                       100gm

Method:

  1. Soak the dates & sugar in butter for 7 hours
  2. Mix the rest all dry ingredients with milk
  3. Mash the soaked dated mixture & fold the dry ingredients to the date mix
  4. bake @ 180°C for 25 minutes
