Bringing together stars from cinema, sports, science, social service, and various walks of life, the grand 16th edition of the VBJ JFW Achievers Awards celebrated women whose journeys stand as a testament to courage,passion, and excellence.

Anchors Archana Chandoke and Azhar brought their signature charm and energy to the evening, seamlessly steering the celebrations and keeping the audience engaged throughout. With their warmth, wit, and effortless camaraderie, the duo added a special spark to the grand celebration.
Special Recognition – Kitammal
At 82, Kittammal proved that age is no barrier to strength. By lifting 50 kilos, she not only set a remarkable example in powerlifting but also inspired an entire generation to believe that it is never too late to chase a dream. She was presented with the Special Recognition by Nakkhul.
Excellence in Science – Nandini Harinath
With a career dedicated to pushing the boundaries of space exploration, Nandini Harinath has been instrumental in the success of landmark ISRO missions including Mangalyaan, Chandrayaan-3, Aditya-L1, and SpaDeX. A pioneer in her field and an inspiration to many young women in science, JFW honoured her with the Excellence in Science Award which was presented to her by Tamilisai Soundararajan .
Sensation of the Year – Anaswara Rajan
Anaswara Rajan was presented the Sensation of the Year Award by Amala Paul, making it a beautiful moment as two talented Malayalam actresses shared the stage. The celebration became even more special when Anaswara’s mother joined her on stage, adding a heartfelt touch to the memorable honour.
Excellence in Social Service – Padma Venkatraman
Sujatha Mohan presented the award to Padma Venkatraman for Excellence in Social Service. The moment was made even more special as four people whose lives she touched came on stage to share their journeys and how her compassion and support helped them build a better future.
Excellence in Cinema- Sneha
Director Vasanth and Amarendra Vummidi, Managing Partner of VBJ, presented Sneha with her award, making it a nostalgic occasion as the filmmaker reflected on their journey together.
Excellence in Sports- Karthika
The JFW Excellence in Sports Award was presented to Karthika by Director Suseenthiran. The young athlete shared the stage with her sister, making it a heartwarming moment as they spoke about their shared passion for kabaddi and their dream of making India proud.
Excellence in Singing – Swetha Mohan
Presented by singer Vijay Yesudas, Shweta Mohan’s Excellence in Singing Award was a beautiful celebration of her musical journey. Adding a touching element to the evening was a surprise appearance by her guru, Binni Krishnakumar, making it a moment filled with gratitude and emotion.
Special Recognition – Purana Sunthari
The JFW Special Recognition Award was presented to Purana Sunthari by Seeman. Her journey of resilience, courage, and unwavering determination was one of the most inspiring moments of the evening, reminding everyone that no obstacle is greater than the strength of one’s dreams.
Excellence in Television Entertainment – Uma Maheswari
Presented by her dear friend Laila, Pepsi Uma’s JFW Excellence in TV Entertainment Award was a celebration not only of her iconic television journey but also of a friendship that has stood the test of time.
Lifetime Achievement Award – Geetha
Presented by Ravi Mohan, Geetha’s JFW Lifetime Achievement Award was a beautiful celebration of her enduring contribution to cinema. Their shared memories from the films they worked on together added nostalgic touch to the evening.
Excellence in Versatility – Varalaxmi Sarathkumar
Presented by Director Bala, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar’s JFW Excellence in Versatility Award was a celebration of her journey in cinema. The evening turned deeply personal when her best friend and brother Rahul took the stage to speak about her kindness, strength, and the difference she makes in the lives of those closest to her.
Excellence in Music- Chinmayi
Presented by Simran, Chinmayi’s JFW Excellence in Music Award was a beautiful celebration of music and memories. Chinmayi spoke about her gratitude for getting the opportunity to sing a song that went on to become one of Simran’s most memorable tracks and a milestone in her own career.
