Sridevi’s upcoming movie, Mom, is one of the most eagerly awaited films in India. It is a thriller film directed by Ravi Udyawar and produced by Sridevi’s husband, Boney Kapoor. The movie will feature Sridevi in the lead along with Nawazuddin Siddiuqui and Akshaye Khanna.
Mom also stars Pakistani actors, Sajal Ali and Adnan Siddiqui. However they cannot be part of the film promotions due to the ban in India. According to a source, “Although they have prominent roles in the film, they won’t be coming to India to promote their film. They were cast for this film long back, before the India’s ban on Pakistani artistes.”
The makers of Mom are also trying their best to release the movie in Pakistan.
Sridevi was last seen in the Tamil film Puli along Vijay, Shruti Haasan and Hansika Motwani. Mom is a woman-centric thriller film. Sajal Ali will be seen playing the role oSridevi’s 18-year-old stepdaughter.
