Why did you portray the Me Too movement as a blackmailing: Chinmayi Questions Radikaa Sarathkumar!

In a series of tweets, Chinmayi announced how she knew her career would get jeopardised soon after she rallied for the #MeToo movement where she spoke about facing sexual misconduct from noted lyricist Vairamuthu and shared other peoples’ stories on the same.

In what is being regarded as a shocking overturn of events, singer and dubbing artist Chinmayi Sripada had been removed from the dubbing union, run by Radha Ravi as well.

However, Chinmayi never stopped fighting. In a recent, Vairamuthu has come out and spoken about the Pollachi Sexual Abuse incident. He mentioned that the animal inside such men should be removed to stop such cruel crimes. She has been a crusader and she is unstoppable and fearless.

In a recent, Chinmayi confronted Radikaa Sarathkumar for her misinterpretation of the #metoo movement in her previous serial Vani Rani which was a superhit!

She tweeted, “@realradikaa Respected Ma’am You have worked really hard to be successful in the industry. You, as a woman, would definitely how powerful men harass women & the trauma. Why did you portray the #MeToo movement as a blackmailing tactic in Vani Rani maam?”

Radikaa then went on to respond to Chinmayi’s tweet, “I have been in this industry for a long time and stood up for everyone’s rights,specially when it concerned women,which everyone in the industry know.If you have any clarification’s on the content of above mentioned serial, pls feel free to meet me in my office.”
