There have been several speculations regarding the casting of the Tamil remake of Andha Dhun and it has finally been fixed. After reporting Aishwarya Rai and Ramya Krishnan were considered to reprise the role of Tabu but no official confirmations were made as yet. Infact, fans were excited to watch Prashanth and Aishwarya Rai together onscreen after a very long time. However, all these rumours have now been rubbished. Simran will be reprising the role of Tabu in the Tamil remake of Andha Dhun.

 

Meanwhile, Prashanth will be reprising the role of Ayushmann Khurana. The duo has now begun shooting for the remake and their pictures are going viral.

The team is also revealing all the the other cast and crew of this anticipated film. Now the latest news is that Priya Anand will play the heroine. The role was played by Radhika Apte in the Hindi original. Actress and Bigg Boss fame, Vanitha Vijaykumar, is also playing an important role in the movie. Urvashi, KS Ravikumar, Leela Samson,and Manobala, too, are part of the star cast. The movie’s shooting started on March 10 in Chennai.

Earlier Simran posted pictures of herself with actor Prashanth from the sets of Andhagan. Priya Anand has now gone ahead and posted a picture of her shooting and it is winning the internet. “Super Excited For #Andhagan. I Can’t Wait To Start Promotions & Spill The Tea On @actorprashanth 🤪😎💥,” wrote Priya on her social media.

Prashanth, who is playing a blind musician has brushed up his piano skills before starting the movie. The story is about a blind pianist and how he gets entangled in a murder.

The film, directed by JJ Frederick of Ponmagal Vandhaal fame. Prashanth who will be seen reprising the role of Ayushmann Khurana from the original has been sincerely prepping for the role especially weight and piano classes.
