Sweet Karam Coffee stars Lakshmi, Madhoo and Santhy as three women living in the same house who want to break free from the shackles of society and the misogynistic set up of home. The 3 women can be seen dealing with their own issues personally but when they decide to do something for themselves, united they stand.

It’s a story of 3 generations from the same family. The grandmother, played by Lakshmi is getting old and is waiting to step out the house but her son keeps coddling her like a little child.

The daughter, played by Santhy is a cricketer who’s looking for a partner who respects her career as much as his. Her struggle to find herself, asking her mom if she knows us and to find the right companion is relatable to all single women.

The mother, played by Madhoo is a quintessential Indian home maker whose world is her home. She is tired of her son and husband not giving her the due respect and space she deserves in her own home.

The trailer will leave your feeling happy and hopeful. Thats what we loved about it. The series will follow the lives of these 3 women and their individual adventures but together on a road trip across the country. It’s also really funny yet realistic when men arent able to function in their own homes without the presses of a woman. We are waiting the show to stream soon so we can find out what other issues it delves into. The initial response to the trailer has been overwhelming and pure love.
