Soundarya Rajinikanth announced early this year that she is all set to produce the epic Ponniyin Selvan, a novel close to the hearts of the Tamilians and one of the favourite stories in Tamil literature. Collaborating with mxPlayer, Ponniyin Selvan will be shot as web series. Ponniyin Selvan is a five-part novel written by Kalki Krishnamoorthy.
