Be it her role as Avanthika from Nagarjuna’s Manmadhudu 2 or her role in Bollywood’s blockbuster film De De Pyaar De, her recent films have positioned her in a good spotlight and that too substantially. Rakul believes that struggle is an extremely negative word and that any hardwork must be done with courage and confidence. The star talks about her disciplined childhood, her career ladder, her fitness, Indian 2 and her personal life.

JFW’s latest new YouTube show Ask Your Favourites by Spinz BB Cream helped fans interact with their favourite star Rakul. In an engaging question and answer sessions with her fans, Rakul was asked, “What do you look for in a script when you choose to do the film?”

To which the NGK actress answered, “Well, sometimes it is the character I really like, sometimes it is a certain director that I really admire – the experience they bring to the table, sometimes it is the hero that I would have really wanted to work with – these are all always different permutations and combinations I come up with. It is never about one thing. But, today looking at where I am, I would want to look at scripts, I want to see how important my role is in the film.”
