Kamal Haasan and his partner Gautami breaking up is the hottest topic in town. While everybody is speculating that the rift between Kamal’s daughter Shruti and Gautami is the reason for the split, Shruti has issues a statement refuting these rumors. Shruti’s spokesperson has said, ‘Shruti has never commented on anyone’s personal life and their decisions. For her, what matters most is standing by, loving and respecting her family – her parents and her sister, no matter what.’
Shruti was born to Kamal Haasan and Sarika in 1986 and the couple got divorced in 2004. Kamal started living with Gautami since 2005 and Shruti never really accepted Gautami to be her mother and also said that she respects her father’s decisions. Gautami was working in Kamal’s Saabash Naidu which also stars Shruti. The duo apparently had a fight over costume selection and Shruti even issued a statement saying it was a minor issue and has been resolved.
Just a day before Gautami’s announcement, Shruti spent the Diwali with father Kamal in Chennai. As expected, Gautami was missing from the celebrations.
