Her role as Neelambari was the most welcomed. Her role as a strong woman might have come across as adamant. However, her dialogue ‘ Unna Madri irukara pombalainga naale dhan…’ was carried with strength. Her role as Sivagami Devi in ‘Bahubali’ was equally strong and brave.
2023 has been a year of blockbuster massy films, but the true winners this year are movies like these, narratives that leave an impact, and emotions so raw and real, that you are instantly connected.
At 2 hours and 45 minutes, the film did seem dragged in the second half, but at the same time, it’s packed with twists and turns and unexpected revelations.
