There are a lot of entertaining films we get to see on a yearly basis but hardly are there films that create an impact. One of the very few impactful films of this year would definitely be Joaquin Phonix starrer Joker directed by Todd Phillips. The film is all about mental health and it was beautifully portrayed. The film has turned out to be a huge box-office hit worldwide and the audience is simply loving it.

One of the film’s biggest fans is none other than Samantha Akkineni. Samantha has been exploring an array of versatile roles herself. She talked about Joaquin’s dedication and characterisation of the role and how something as sensitive as emotional intelligence was beautifully handled.

She further added, “The Joker is the greatest film I’ve ever watched.. and there will only ever be one Joaquin Phoenix.” We couldn’t agree more.

Joaquin is an incredible actor and Todd has directed the famous Hangover series but this story was emotionally and physically different and exhausting for both of them. But, they simply nailed it.
