READ: Here’s Why Samantha Akkineni Accepted A Script With Her Contemporary Nayanthara!

We cannot wait to watch them together onscreen!

Samantha Akkineni and Nayanthara are two prominent figures in the South Indian film industry. With their strong screen presence, the two talents are at great heights and are also well received by the audience. While Samantha has been riding on the success of her recent film Jaanu, Nayanthara has starred in box-office hits like Darbar and Bigil. Now according to recent reports, an upcoming movie starring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role will also see Samantha Akkineni and Nayanthara sharing the big screen. However, this has not yet been confirmed.

It has been confirmed that the film will be directed by Nayanthara’s beau and filmmaker, Vignesh Shivan, and has been titled “Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal”. Lalit Kumar’s 7 Screen Studios is set to produce the film and Anirudh Ravichander is to be roped in as the music composer.

As the motion poster of the title released, the excitement got higher. In a recent interview, Samantha was asked the reason as to why this script was accepted to which she said, “At a time when I am looking for exciting scripts, this blew me off for sure.”

Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara teamed up earlier in the 2015 hit “Naanum Rowdy Dhaan” which was also written and directed by Vignesh Shivan himself. The Tamil film was later dubbed into Telugu as “Nenu Rowdy Ne”. Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha also worked with each other on the 2019 film “Super Deluxe” though they did not share screen time together.

Both Sam and Nayanthara are doing great in their personal life and professional careers. With 2019 being in favour of the gorgeous ladies, we cannot wait to see what they’ve got for us in store this 2020.
