After Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal, Samantha is all set to entertain us with Yashoda which is expected to release on November 11th. Photos of Samantha from the film were shared yesterday and it is now going viral on social media. In one photo she is seen in a Yellow kurti, while in another she was seen in a lilac kurti. Her expressions create an expectation that the movie may be an edge-of-the-seat thriller. Samantha looks perfect as Yashoda in the two photos that have come out.
Meanwhile, Samantha is also awaiting the release of Shaakuntalam. The movie was initially supposed to release on August 4th. However, within two days of the announcement, the makers re-announced that the movie’s release might get a little more delayed. The makers took to Twitter and released an official statement that read, “We aim to give a bigger experience with Shaakuntalam and immerse you in the World of Shaakuntalam, for which we as a team felt 3D would be a brilliant way. To facilitate this, we would be taking some time to put forth and so, will be unable to meet the earlier announced date of release. We thank the support and love showered upon us, from around the world, hoping for your support in this too! We will be announcing a new release date soon.”
On the work front, Samantha is also working on Kushi co-starring Vijay Deverakonda. She recently made an appearance on the Koffee with Karan season 7 trailer, and created a buzz for her statements. It is also reported that she is in the talks for the Hindi film ‘Immortal Ashwatthama’, starring Vicky Kaushal. She is reported to be headlining a film that is to be produced by Taapsee Pannu.
