Nayanthara was last seen in Sivakarthikeyan’s Mr.Local and it was not very welcomed by the audience. However, the Airaa actress has multiple biggies in her kitty. She is shooting for Rajinikanth – AR Murugadoss’ Darbar and also for Atlee – Vijay’s Bigil. Apart from that, the actress is acting alongside Nivin Pauly in the Malayalam film Love, Action, Drama.

But, Nayan these days is known for her interesting women-centric scripts. Her upcoming thriller Kolaiyudhir Kalam has been one of her most anticipated films. Directed by Chakri Toleti of Unnai Pol Oruvan and Billa 2 fame, the film also has Bhumika Chawla and Prathap Pothen in pivotal roles.

The film was initially scheduled to release on the 26th of July, however, due to some issues, the film was rescheduled to release on the August 1st. After yet another issue faced, the Court has requested the makers reschedule the date yet again to August 2nd.

The Hindi version of Kolaiyudhir Kaalam titled Khamoshi starring Tamannaah Bhatia and Prabhu Deva in the lead bombed at the box office!
